Performances by Jamiila

Jamiila has performed for a variety of audiences across Western Canada and the United States. She began performing professionally in 1989 at a small club called Tio Fernando's. Since that time, she has performed for countless private and public events including Winnipeg, Edmonton, & Vancouver Fringe Festivals, Winnipeg International Folk Music Festival, Brandon Folk Music Festival, Lockport Children's Festival, Folklorama, 1999 Pan American Games, The Forks (The Granville Island of Winnipeg) and for a wide range of charitable organizations including The Variety Club, The Boys & Girls' Club and many others.

Jamiila is the consummate entertainer. Whether it be a more traditional style of dance or modern interpretive style, her energy will captivate and inspire.  Whatever the theme of your event, Jamiila's engaging personality will be sure to leave the audience smiling.
